1. Parties
This Vendor and Exhibitor Application Form, Service Sheet, and Standard Terms and Conditions records the basis upon which Sky Bound Events (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026 / 304800 / 07, receives, evaluates, approves, allocates space to, and manages vendors, exhibitors, traders, activations, food vendors, product vendors, service providers, sponsors, and similar commercial participants at Pretoria Airshow 2026.
The applicant is the natural person, juristic person, sole proprietor, partnership, company, close corporation, trust, association, or other legal entity submitting an application to Sky Bound Events (Pty) Ltd. Where the application is submitted by a representative, the representative warrants that he or she is duly authorised to submit the application, bind the applicant to these terms, provide the required information and documentation, and receive notices on behalf of the applicant.
For purposes of this document, “Sky Bound Events” means Sky Bound Events (Pty) Ltd, including its directors, employees, representatives, agents, appointed event managers, contractors, safety officers, marshals, venue representatives, and authorised service providers, where the context permits. “Applicant”, “Vendor”, or “Exhibitor” means the person or entity applying to participate in the event and, where the application is accepted, the approved participant and all of its staff, contractors, agents, assistants, drivers, volunteers, and representatives.
2. Event Details
The application relates to Pretoria Airshow 2026, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at Rhino Park Airfield. The event website is pretoriaairshow.co.za.
The event-specific vendor and exhibitor terms will be hosted at https://skyboundevents.co.za/ptaairshow26/vendors. Sky Bound Events may update the published page from time to time to reflect operational, compliance, legal, municipal, JOC, venue, or event requirements.
The applicant acknowledges that event details may be subject to change due to operational requirements, venue requirements, municipal requirements, JOC requirements, safety directives, weather conditions, force majeure events, supplier constraints, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Sky Bound Events. Sky Bound Events will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to approved vendors and exhibitors as soon as reasonably practical.
3. Nature of Application
Submission of an application constitutes an application only. It does not guarantee acceptance, exclusivity, stand allocation, site allocation, approval to trade, approval to exhibit, access to electricity or water, approval of products or services, municipal approval, or JOC approval.
A binding agreement between Sky Bound Events and the applicant will come into effect only once Sky Bound Events has accepted the application in writing, issued the relevant invoice or written confirmation, and the applicant has complied with all payment, documentation, compliance, and approval requirements stipulated by Sky Bound Events.
Sky Bound Events reserves the right, in its sole and reasonable discretion, to accept, decline, waitlist, reclassify, limit, or conditionally approve any application, taking into account the event concept, space availability, product mix, duplication of offerings, safety considerations, municipal requirements, category balance, prior conduct, documentation supplied, and the best interests of the event.
4. Purpose of Information Collection
The applicant agrees to provide accurate and complete information to Sky Bound Events for the purposes of evaluating the application, confirming the applicant’s identity and legal status, assessing the suitability of the applicant’s products or services, allocating suitable trading or exhibition space, preparing invoices, managing event logistics, compiling compliance documentation, supporting the City of Tshwane JOC and event compliance process, and ensuring that all vendors and exhibitors comply with applicable laws, municipal requirements, venue rules, event safety requirements, and these terms.
The applicant agrees that Sky Bound Events may request additional information or documentation at any stage before or during the event where such information is reasonably required for legal, safety, operational, financial, insurance, municipal, or compliance purposes.
5. Electronic Submission and Google Form Process
The applicant acknowledges that Sky Bound Events may use an online form, including a Google Form or similar electronic application process, to collect applicant details, uploaded supporting documentation, declarations, consents, category selections, service requirements, and invoicing information.
By submitting the electronic application form, ticking the relevant declaration boxes, uploading documents, and/or providing the applicant’s name and contact details in the form, the applicant confirms that the information provided is true, correct, current, and complete to the best of the applicant’s knowledge, and that the applicant intends the submission to be relied upon by Sky Bound Events for application, compliance, invoicing, and event management purposes.
Where Sky Bound Events requires a signed document in addition to the electronic form, the applicant agrees to provide such signed document within the timeframe stipulated by Sky Bound Events. Sky Bound Events may withhold final approval, stand allocation, site access, or trading permission until all required documents have been properly submitted and accepted.
6. Applicant Details and Invoicing Information
The applicant must provide its full legal name, trading name, company registration number where applicable, VAT registration number where applicable, income tax reference number where reasonably required, registered address, trading address, postal address, contact person, email address, telephone number, emergency contact details, and any other information required for invoicing, compliance, and event administration.
The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all invoicing details are correct before an invoice is issued. Sky Bound Events will not be liable for delays, incorrect invoices, payment allocation problems, or administrative consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the applicant.
Where the applicant is VAT registered, the applicant must provide its VAT registration number and any other details required for the issuing of a valid tax invoice. Where the applicant is not VAT registered, the applicant must indicate this clearly in the application.
7. Vendor and Exhibitor Categories
The applicant must accurately describe the nature of its participation, including whether it is applying as a food vendor, beverage vendor, product vendor, craft vendor, merchandise vendor, exhibitor, sponsor activation, service provider, promotional stand, display stand, children’s activity provider, market stall, mobile trailer, branded vehicle, or any other category identified by Sky Bound Events.
The applicant must provide a clear description of all goods, services, products, activities, demonstrations, samples, displays, vehicles, equipment, machinery, gas appliances, electrical appliances, cooking methods, heating equipment, signage, generators, sound equipment, and structures it intends to bring onto the event site.
The applicant may not sell, distribute, display, promote, or provide any goods, services, products, or activities that were not disclosed in the application and approved by Sky Bound Events in writing.
8. Service Sheet and Stand Package
The applicant’s approved service sheet will record the stand type, stand size, stand fee, category, trading area, approximate allocation, included services, excluded services, payment terms, documentation requirements, access arrangements, and any additional agreed services.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, the stand fee includes only the right to occupy the allocated trading or exhibition space for the approved purpose during the approved times. The stand fee does not include electricity, water, furniture, gazebo, marquee, flooring, lighting, refrigeration, storage, security for vendor goods, cleaning of the vendor’s own stand, point-of-sale facilities, internet connectivity, staff accreditation, vehicle passes, gas equipment, fire extinguishers, waste removal from the stand, or any additional infrastructure.
Any additional services requested by the applicant are subject to availability, technical feasibility, venue restrictions, supplier availability, separate quotation, advance payment, and approval by Sky Bound Events.
9. Fees, Payment, and Confirmation
The applicant must pay all fees, deposits, service charges, infrastructure charges, electricity charges, late submission charges, or other amounts invoiced by Sky Bound Events by the due date stated on the invoice.
No applicant will be regarded as finally approved, and no stand, trading area, activation area, or exhibition space will be finally reserved, until Sky Bound Events has received payment in full and the applicant has submitted all required documents to the satisfaction of Sky Bound Events.
Sky Bound Events may reallocate, release, cancel, or offer the applicant’s provisional space to another applicant if payment is not received by the due date, or if the applicant fails to submit required documentation within the stipulated timeframe.
All bank charges, payment reference errors, delayed payments, reversed payments, chargebacks, and associated administrative consequences are the responsibility of the applicant.
10. Cancellation by Applicant
If an approved applicant wishes to cancel its participation, the cancellation must be submitted to Sky Bound Events in writing. A cancellation will only be effective once acknowledged in writing by Sky Bound Events.
The refund, credit, or forfeiture of fees following cancellation will be determined in accordance with the cancellation schedule stated in the approved service sheet, taking into account the date of cancellation, administrative work already performed, municipal or supplier commitments already made, infrastructure already ordered, opportunity costs, stand resale prospects, and any other reasonable costs incurred by Sky Bound Events.
Sky Bound Events may record a cancellation schedule in the service sheet, including different treatment for cancellations received more than a stated number of days before the event, within a stated cancellation window before the event, and within a final non-refundable period before the event. The applicant acknowledges that late cancellations may result in full or partial forfeiture of amounts paid, subject to applicable law and final legal review.
11. Cancellation, Postponement, or Amendment by Sky Bound Events
Sky Bound Events may cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, reduce, expand, reconfigure, or otherwise amend the event, or any part of the event, where this is reasonably necessary due to weather, safety concerns, venue requirements, municipal requirements, JOC requirements, insufficient approvals, force majeure, supplier failure, security concerns, public health concerns, infrastructure constraints, low ticket sales, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Sky Bound Events.
Where the event is postponed or rescheduled, Sky Bound Events may transfer the approved applicant’s participation to the new date, subject to availability, revised compliance requirements, and the applicant’s continued eligibility.
Where the event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Sky Bound Events, Sky Bound Events may deduct reasonable, proven, unrecoverable costs already incurred before determining any refund, credit, or alternative arrangement, subject to applicable law and final legal review.
12. Compliance with Law and Event Requirements
The applicant must comply with all applicable South African laws, regulations, municipal by-laws, venue rules, event safety requirements, health and hygiene requirements, fire safety requirements, occupational health and safety requirements, consumer protection requirements, tax requirements, environmental requirements, liquor licensing requirements where applicable, intellectual property laws, and all lawful instructions issued by Sky Bound Events, the venue, the City of Tshwane, JOC representatives, SAPS, emergency services, fire services, environmental health officials, inspectors, safety officers, security personnel, or other authorised officials.
The applicant acknowledges that the event may be subject to the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act, applicable regulations, City of Tshwane event compliance requirements, JOC assessment, venue-specific safety rules, emergency planning requirements, and further instructions issued before or during the event.
The applicant must co-operate fully with Sky Bound Events and all authorised officials in connection with inspections, document checks, site checks, safety instructions, incident reporting, access control, emergency procedures, and compliance verification.
13. JOC and Municipal Compliance
The applicant acknowledges that Sky Bound Events may be required to submit vendor, exhibitor, safety, health, fire, site layout, infrastructure, waste, security, emergency, and operational information as part of the City of Tshwane JOC and event compliance process.
The applicant agrees to provide all documentation requested by Sky Bound Events within the deadlines communicated by Sky Bound Events. This may include, without limitation, company registration documents, identity documents, proof of address, tax details, public liability insurance, product descriptions, staff lists, vehicle details, certificates of acceptability, health certificates, food-handling documentation, fire safety documentation, gas compliance documentation, electrical compliance documentation, structural information, risk information, and any other documents reasonably required for the event file.
Failure to submit complete and acceptable documents by the stipulated deadline may result in the application being declined, the approval being withdrawn, access being refused, or trading being prohibited, without liability on the part of Sky Bound Events for any resulting loss.
Approval by Sky Bound Events does not constitute approval by the City of Tshwane, the JOC, the venue, fire services, environmental health, SAPS, emergency services, or any other authority. The applicant remains responsible for ensuring that it satisfies all applicable requirements relevant to its goods, services, equipment, staff, and operations.
14. Food Vendors and Beverage Vendors
Any applicant selling, preparing, handling, storing, transporting, displaying, sampling, or serving food or beverages must comply with all applicable food safety, hygiene, health, storage, transport, temperature control, labelling, waste, water, hand-washing, pest control, and food-handling requirements.
Food and beverage vendors must provide all health certificates, certificates of acceptability, food premises documentation, food handler documentation, and any other documents requested by Sky Bound Events, the City of Tshwane, environmental health officials, the venue, or the JOC.
Food and beverage vendors must maintain clean, hygienic, and safe operations at all times and must ensure that all food is stored, transported, prepared, cooked, displayed, and served in a manner that does not endanger the public, staff, other vendors, or the event.
Sky Bound Events may require any food or beverage vendor to stop trading immediately if there is a reasonable concern regarding hygiene, food safety, public health, contamination, non-compliance, missing documentation, unsafe equipment, pest concerns, expired products, inadequate temperature control, or failure to follow lawful instructions.
15. Liquor and Restricted Goods
No applicant may sell, distribute, sample, display, promote, or supply alcohol, tobacco products, vaping products, cannabis products, medicines, weapons, fireworks, hazardous substances, counterfeit goods, adult products, or any restricted, regulated, unlawful, dangerous, offensive, or inappropriate goods or services unless such goods or services have been expressly disclosed in the application, approved by Sky Bound Events in writing, and authorised under all applicable laws and permits.
The sale or distribution of alcohol is prohibited unless the applicant has obtained and submitted all required liquor licences, temporary liquor authorisations, approvals, and supporting documents, and unless Sky Bound Events has specifically approved such sale or distribution in writing.
Sky Bound Events may remove, prohibit, or require the immediate cessation of any goods, services, marketing material, display, activity, or conduct that Sky Bound Events reasonably considers unlawful, unsafe, offensive, unsuitable for the event, inconsistent with the event brand, or contrary to municipal, venue, sponsor, or JOC requirements.
16. Fire Safety, Gas, Electricity, and Equipment
The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, cooking appliances, heating appliances, gas installations, cylinders, regulators, hoses, electrical equipment, extension leads, generators, lighting, refrigeration, machinery, displays, and structures brought onto the event site are safe, lawful, fit for purpose, properly installed, properly maintained, and operated only by competent persons.
Where gas is used, the applicant must disclose this in the application and must provide any gas compliance certificates, safety information, cylinder details, and fire safety documents required by Sky Bound Events, the venue, fire services, municipal officials, or the JOC. Gas cylinders must be secured, stored, used, and transported safely and in accordance with applicable law and instructions.
Where electricity is required, the applicant must disclose the required load, plug type, appliances, and intended use. The applicant may not connect to any power source without authorisation from Sky Bound Events or its appointed electrical contractor. Unauthorised electrical connections, overloaded circuits, unsafe wiring, domestic multi-plugs, exposed cabling, damaged equipment, or unsafe installations may be disconnected immediately.
The applicant must provide and maintain appropriate fire extinguishers and safety equipment where required by the nature of its operations, the venue, municipal officials, fire services, or Sky Bound Events. Fire extinguishers must be suitable for the risk, accessible, in date, and in good working order.
17. Structures, Gazebos, Trailers, Vehicles, and Branding
The applicant may not erect any gazebo, marquee, tent, stall, counter, banner, flag, sign, display, trailer, vehicle, stage element, lighting structure, promotional arch, inflatable, umbrella, or other structure unless it has been disclosed in the application and approved by Sky Bound Events.
All structures must be safe, properly weighted or secured, neat, professional, fit for outdoor conditions, and compliant with all venue, safety, fire, wind, access, emergency, and municipal requirements. Pegging, staking, trenching, drilling, ground penetration, or attachment to venue property may not take place without prior written approval.
Sky Bound Events may require the applicant to remove, lower, secure, alter, or reposition any structure, branding, signage, trailer, vehicle, or display that creates a safety risk, obstructs access, blocks emergency routes, interferes with sightlines, breaches the approved layout, encroaches on another stand, or conflicts with sponsor or event branding requirements.
18. Stand Allocation and Exclusivity
Sky Bound Events will allocate trading and exhibition spaces in accordance with the event layout, category mix, operational requirements, safety planning, infrastructure availability, vehicle access, crowd movement, sponsor obligations, and the overall event concept.
The applicant acknowledges that any stand number, location, layout, or map provided before the event is provisional and may be changed by Sky Bound Events where reasonably necessary.
No exclusivity is granted to any applicant unless specifically agreed in writing by Sky Bound Events. The acceptance of an applicant does not prevent Sky Bound Events from approving other vendors or exhibitors selling similar or competing goods or services.
19. Set-Up, Trading Hours, and Breakdown
The applicant must comply with all set-up times, access times, trading times, delivery times, vehicle movement restrictions, breakdown times, and site-clearing deadlines communicated by Sky Bound Events.
Late arrival may result in access being delayed, the allocated space being changed, or the applicant being refused permission to set up, particularly where late arrival would interfere with public access, safety checks, emergency routes, aircraft operations, venue operations, or JOC requirements.
The applicant may not dismantle, pack away, leave the stand unattended, or remove equipment before the official breakdown time without prior approval from Sky Bound Events, except in an emergency or where instructed by an authorised official.
The applicant must leave its allocated area clean, safe, undamaged, and free of waste, equipment, oil, grease, charcoal, food residue, packaging, cable ties, broken goods, and other materials.
20. Staff, Accreditation, and Conduct
The applicant is responsible for the conduct, safety, training, supervision, appearance, and compliance of all persons working at, assisting with, delivering to, or representing the applicant’s stand.
All staff and representatives must behave professionally, courteously, lawfully, and respectfully towards members of the public, other vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, event staff, security, officials, and venue personnel.
Sky Bound Events may require staff lists, identity details, accreditation details, vehicle details, and emergency contact information for safety and access control purposes. Access may be refused to any person not properly accredited or not appearing on an approved list.
Sky Bound Events may remove or require the removal of any person whose conduct is unlawful, abusive, intoxicated, threatening, unsafe, discriminatory, disruptive, unhygienic, reputationally harmful, or inconsistent with the standards of the event.
21. Health, Safety, and Risk
The applicant must take all reasonable measures to prevent injury, illness, damage, contamination, fire, theft, loss, public nuisance, obstruction, and unsafe conditions arising from its operations.
The applicant must immediately report any injury, illness, accident, incident, near miss, fire, spill, equipment failure, public complaint, lost child concern, security incident, or unsafe condition to Sky Bound Events or the nearest authorised event official.
The applicant must comply with all emergency instructions, evacuation instructions, weather-related instructions, public safety announcements, fire instructions, security instructions, aircraft safety restrictions, crowd control instructions, and lawful directions from authorised officials.
The applicant may not obstruct access routes, emergency routes, fire lanes, hydrants, exits, entrances, walkways, viewing areas, aircraft operational areas, restricted zones, or any area marked or communicated as unavailable.
22. Consumer Protection and Trading Standards
The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all goods and services supplied to members of the public are safe, lawful, accurately described, fit for purpose, of acceptable quality, properly priced, and supplied in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Prices must be clearly displayed where appropriate, and the applicant must not engage in misleading marketing, false claims, bait advertising, unfair sales practices, counterfeit sales, unauthorised brand use, or any conduct that may mislead or prejudice consumers.
The applicant is solely responsible for handling its own customer complaints, refunds, exchanges, warranties, product defects, food complaints, allergic reactions, service failures, and consumer disputes, unless otherwise required by law.
Sky Bound Events is not the seller of the applicant’s goods or services and does not assume responsibility for the applicant’s consumer transactions.
23. Intellectual Property and Branding
The applicant warrants that it has the right to use all business names, logos, trade marks, branding, signage, music, images, slogans, packaging, uniforms, promotional materials, and intellectual property displayed or used at the event.
The applicant may not use the name, logo, artwork, photographs, videos, sponsor marks, event branding, aircraft imagery, venue branding, or marketing assets of Sky Bound Events or Pretoria Airshow 2026 without prior written approval.
Sky Bound Events may photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture images of the event, including vendor stands, exhibitor stands, products, staff, signage, and public interactions, for event documentation, marketing, reporting, sponsor, promotional, and archival purposes. The applicant consents to such incidental and reasonable use, provided that Sky Bound Events does not imply endorsement of the applicant’s products or services unless such endorsement has been agreed in writing.
24. Waste, Cleaning, and Environmental Requirements
The applicant is responsible for maintaining its allocated area in a clean, safe, hygienic, and orderly condition throughout the event.
The applicant must manage all waste generated by its operations and must comply with all waste separation, recycling, grease disposal, charcoal disposal, oil disposal, wastewater disposal, packaging, cleaning, and environmental instructions issued by Sky Bound Events, the venue, or municipal officials.
The applicant may not pour oil, grease, chemicals, wastewater, food waste, detergents, ash, or any other substance onto the ground, into stormwater drains, into public areas, or into any unauthorised location.
Sky Bound Events may recover from the applicant any reasonable costs incurred for cleaning, damage repair, waste removal, environmental remediation, or venue penalties caused by the applicant or its representatives.
25. Security, Loss, and Damage
The applicant remains responsible for the security of its own property, stock, equipment, cash, point-of-sale devices, vehicles, documents, personal belongings, and staff property at all times.
Sky Bound Events may provide general event security but does not undertake to provide dedicated security for any applicant, stand, stock, equipment, trailer, vehicle, or cash area unless this is specifically agreed in writing.
The applicant participates at its own risk and must take reasonable precautions against theft, loss, weather damage, fire, breakage, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
26. Insurance
The applicant must maintain adequate insurance appropriate to its activities, including public liability insurance, product liability insurance, employer-related cover, vehicle insurance, stock insurance, equipment insurance, and any other cover reasonably required by Sky Bound Events, the venue, municipal officials, the JOC, or applicable law.
Sky Bound Events may require proof of insurance before approving the applicant or allowing access to the event site. Failure to provide proof of insurance when requested may result in withdrawal of approval or refusal of access.
The applicant acknowledges that Sky Bound Events’ event insurance, if any, does not automatically insure the applicant’s own business, stock, equipment, staff, products, vehicles, structures, consumer transactions, or liabilities.
27. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the applicant indemnifies and holds harmless Sky Bound Events, the venue owner, event partners, sponsors, contractors, employees, representatives, and authorised officials against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs, expenses, injuries, illnesses, deaths, property damage, consumer claims, product claims, food safety claims, intellectual property claims, tax claims, employment claims, or legal proceedings arising from or connected with the applicant’s participation in the event, except to the extent caused by the proven wilful misconduct or gross negligence of the indemnified party.
This indemnity includes claims arising from the applicant’s goods, services, food, beverages, equipment, structures, vehicles, staff, contractors, marketing materials, unlawful conduct, unsafe conduct, non-compliance, failure to obtain permits, failure to follow instructions, or breach of these terms.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sky Bound Events will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or economic losses suffered by the applicant, including loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of opportunity, loss of stock, loss of goodwill, reputational loss, or business interruption, whether arising from cancellation, postponement, weather, low attendance, site changes, power interruptions, supplier failure, municipal requirements, safety instructions, force majeure, or any other event-related circumstance.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
29. Breach and Removal from Event
Sky Bound Events may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate the applicant’s participation, refuse access, close the applicant’s stand, disconnect services, remove unauthorised goods, or require the applicant to leave the event site if the applicant breaches these terms, fails to provide required documents, fails to pay amounts due, trades outside the approved category, creates a safety risk, acts unlawfully, fails to follow lawful instructions, damages property, mistreats staff or members of the public, or conducts itself in a manner that may harm the event, the public, sponsors, the venue, or Sky Bound Events.
Where removal or termination results from the applicant’s breach, non-compliance, unsafe conduct, or misconduct, the applicant will not be entitled to a refund, subject to applicable law and final legal review.
30. Personal Information and POPIA Consent
The applicant consents to Sky Bound Events collecting, storing, using, processing, sharing, and retaining the personal information and business information submitted in the application form and supporting documents for purposes related to application assessment, legal compliance, event management, invoicing, municipal compliance, JOC documentation, safety planning, access control, insurance, communication, supplier coordination, record keeping, and dispute management.
The applicant acknowledges that Sky Bound Events may share relevant information with its employees, contractors, event managers, professional advisers, insurers, accountants, legal representatives, venue representatives, the City of Tshwane, JOC representatives, SAPS, emergency services, fire services, environmental health officials, security providers, and other authorised parties where reasonably necessary for the above purposes.
The applicant warrants that it has obtained all necessary permissions from its employees, staff, contractors, drivers, representatives, and other persons whose personal information is submitted to Sky Bound Events.
Sky Bound Events will take reasonable measures to protect personal information and will retain such information only for as long as reasonably required for lawful business, compliance, legal, tax, insurance, and record-keeping purposes.
31. Notices and Communication
The applicant agrees that Sky Bound Events may communicate with the applicant by email, telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, online forms, shared documents, or any other reasonable communication method using the contact details provided by the applicant.
A notice sent to the email address or telephone number provided by the applicant will be regarded as received unless the applicant has notified Sky Bound Events in writing of updated contact details.
The applicant is responsible for monitoring all communication channels and responding promptly to requests for information, payment, documents, or compliance confirmations.
32. No Cession, Subletting, or Transfer
The applicant may not sell, transfer, cede, assign, share, sublet, donate, exchange, or otherwise make available its approved stand, site, accreditation, vehicle pass, trading right, or exhibitor right to any third party without prior written approval from Sky Bound Events.
Any unauthorised transfer or sharing of space may result in immediate cancellation of the approval and removal from the event.
33. Relationship Between the Parties
Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency relationship, franchise, lease, or permanent trading right between Sky Bound Events and the applicant.
The applicant participates as an independent trader, exhibitor, service provider, or commercial participant and remains solely responsible for its own business operations, employees, taxes, licences, permits, products, services, legal compliance, and customer transactions.
34. Force Majeure
Sky Bound Events will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, disaster, public health restrictions, government action, municipal refusal, JOC refusal, power failure, infrastructure failure, supplier failure, security threats, strikes, civil unrest, aircraft safety restrictions, emergency incidents, venue unavailability, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sky Bound Events.
Sky Bound Events will take reasonable steps to manage the consequences of a force majeure event and communicate relevant changes to approved applicants where practical.
35. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussions between authorised representatives. If the dispute is not resolved within a reasonable period, the parties may refer the dispute to mediation or any other dispute resolution process agreed between them, without limiting either party’s right to approach a competent court where urgent relief or legal enforcement is required.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the courts having jurisdiction in Gauteng, South Africa, will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with this agreement, subject to applicable law.
36. Entire Agreement and Amendments
This document, the completed application form, the approved service sheet, any invoice issued by Sky Bound Events, and any written approval or special condition issued by Sky Bound Events constitute the agreement between the parties in respect of the applicant’s participation in Pretoria Airshow 2026.
No amendment, waiver, special condition, category exclusivity, additional service, refund arrangement, or variation will be binding unless recorded in writing by Sky Bound Events.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
37. Applicant Declaration

The applicant confirms that it will comply with all applicable laws, municipal requirements, venue rules, JOC requirements, event safety instructions, payment obligations, documentation requirements, and lawful instructions issued by Sky Bound Events or authorised officials.
The applicant acknowledges that failure to comply with these requirements may result in the application being declined, approval being withdrawn, access being refused, the stand being closed, the applicant being removed from the event, or other lawful action being taken.
38. Signature / Electronic Acceptance
By signing this document, submitting the relevant online application form, ticking an acceptance box in the online application form, uploading required documentation, or otherwise confirming participation in writing, the applicant confirms acceptance of these terms, subject to final approval by Sky Bound Events.
